Job Summary
We're seeking a detail-oriented, dependable individual who loves honey and believes in small business to assist in our honey house on a part-time, as-needed basis. In this hands-on production role, you'll help with the pouring, bottling and labeling of our honey for bulk, retail, wholesale and online orders. This position is just a few hours per week and is ideal for someone who takes pride in doing careful, clean work and wants to be part of something sweet — no prior experience necessary, we'll train you!
Key Responsibilities
Assist with pouring and bottling honey into a variety of container sizes.
Apply labels neatly and accurately to finished products, ensuring correct placement, alignment and product information.
Help pack, prepare and organize completed orders for pickup or shipment.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace in accordance with food safety guidelines.
Follow all food handling and safety protocols (full training provided).
Assist with basic inventory tasks, including restocking supplies and flagging low stock.
Report any product quality concerns or inconsistencies to the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
A genuine love of honey and enthusiasm for local, small-business operations.
Strong attention to detail — accurate fills, neat labels and quality presentation matter to us.
Commitment to cleanliness and food safety; must be comfortable following hygiene and handling standards.
Reliable, punctual, and communicative — able to show up on short notice when production needs arise.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs (honey buckets, cases of jars, etc.).
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Reliable transportation to our honey house location.
No experience necessary — we will train the right person! Prior food production, packaging, or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
