Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum
We’re a proud sponsor of one of the best kept secrets in our community, the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum, located inside of Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA. The museum is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and bringing to life the rich agricultural heritage of Loudoun County, which includes beekeeping!
Loudoun has long been one of the largest honey-producing counties in all of Virginia and is home to more hobby beekeepers than anywhere in the state. The museum’s beekeeping exhibit features vintage beekeeping equipment and an observation hive where you can watch live honey bees hard at work.
It’s well worth a visit. Please consider donating to their cause.
